The Yarn Market building is a 17th century timber-framed market building in the pretty village of Dunster in West Somerset.

This octagonal building occupies a central location and marks the area’s once prosperous and flourishing cloth trade. Before the building, the buying and selling of local yarn would have taken place in all weathers and so the building offered protection in the form of a permanent market structure.
Today, it is a much loved local landmark, and one that rightly deserves its place in my collection of West Country prints.
