MEET THE ARTIST
My Story
I have always been inspired by nature, particularly colour and texture. Even as a small child I was fascinated by pattern and detail. These passions continue to direct my work today. Using deconstructed fragments of my own paintings as the basis for my designs, I seek to transform a simple landscape into something much more meaningful – a lasting memory of a special scene or location to be treasured.
By building unusual colour and texture into each layer, my designs not only capture the essence of a place, but also the emotional resonance it has for those who have experienced it.
Inspiration
Colour, Place and Observation
My work has continued to evolve and, since moving to Lincolnshire in 2024, has become increasingly driven by the layers of human activity evident across the county, unearthing local stories and deepening my understanding of the history of the landscapes around me.
“I believe that we don’t simply look at landscapes; we carry them with us. Places become repositories for memory, emotion, and identity.”
As well as capturing local scenes, recognisable landscapes, and landmarks, I regularly work with customers to help them create their own special memories through bespoke commissions.

Environmental Considerations
From the very start, I have been conscious of trying to minimise waste.
"I have always been a reuser, repurposer and recycler and am always joking on social media that every nook and cranny of my house is jammed with ‘saved’ gift wrap and packing materials. My mum has always done this, I do it, and so do many of my friends. In fact, something I use to decorate a friend’s gift will often find its way back to me to be reused again and again."
I adopt this same principle into the business and reuse boxes and packaging, aiming to reduce the need for new items to do the same job.
