I have a slight obsession with swimming pools and would love some sort of plunge pool in my garden. It’s an obsession I’ve had since I was a child. So, my designs were always going to lead me to creating something made up of beautiful turquoise waters.

Despite a scramble to reach it, Dancing Ledge and its tidal pool offers the wild swimming enthusiast a perfect spot for a dip and a ‘poolside’ picnic.
Some stories suggest the ledge was named thus because the water seems to ‘dance’ over the flat rock, rippling across the many hollows within it, while others say the area of flat Portland stone is just the right size for a ballroom!
Whatever the truth, its definitely worth a visit.
