Vivary Park is a beautiful, late Victorian public park and popular green space in the centre of Taunton. The home of Taunton Flower Show, which dates back to 1851, the park becomes an annual treasure trove for the home gardener, and those looking to bag a rosette or two in the many horticultural, art and craft classes that take place in the huge marquee at the centre of the park.

Well used and well supported by the local community, the park hosts large scale music events as well as more intimate gatherings around the bandstand.
Originally the site of a fish farm or vivarium in medieval times, while their are no visible signs remaining, the name of its ancient use lives on in the name of the park.
