Having inspired poets and artists for centuries, the mystique of The Valley of Rocks (also referred to as Valley of the Rocks) continues to this day. A popular tourist destination, it is a dry valley that runs parallel to the coast, approximately a mile to the west of the village of Lynton in North Devon. A haunt for those with an interest in geology and/or archaeology, the area is also home to a herd of feral goats.
