Nestled in the picturesque Somerset countryside, a few miles outside Taunton, the racecourse occupies a spot with expansive views out towards the Blackdown Hills. A jump venue, Taunton Racecourse hosts approximately fourteen thrilling race meetings each season, attracting visitors to the excitement of national hunt racing. As well as boasting a range of versatile and outstanding facilities for conferences and weddings, the racecourse has also hosted a great number of rock and pop legends over the years including UB40, Billy Ocean and Simple Minds.

This design uses a little artistic licence to include the finishing post and iconic Taunton Racecourse horseshoe sign. While a couple of my designs include figures, this is the first that includes animals! I felt the course looked a tad flat (excuse the pun) without the energy of a race!
