Size

Taunton is the county town of Somerset, steeped in history that spans a thousand years. This print depicts Hammet Street and features the popular independent street market that often takes place in parts of the town selling all manner of local produce. Facing the street and towering 50 metres skywards is the tower of Taunton Minster. This 16th century Grade 1 listed building was St Mary Magdalene Church, renamed as Taunton Minster in March 2022. It is a civic hub and part of the Diocese of Bath & Wells.
