This Porthgain Harbour print by Vicki Shortt encapsulates the rustic charm and storied history of this unique coastal village in Pembrokeshire, Wales. Once a bustling industrial port, Porthgain was central to the export of slate, stone, and brick during the late 19th and early 20th centuries, evidenced by the striking brick hoppers still visible on the harbour. Today, the village is a quiet haven, known for its artistic community, beautiful coastal trails, and fresh seafood. Vicki’s artwork celebrates Porthgain’s dramatic past and serene present, bringing a piece of Welsh heritage into your home. This design was created as a semi-bespoke gift for a customer's father to celebrate his 70th birthday. He has been visiting Porthgain for the last 65 years!
