Polzeath is a quaint village on Cornwall’s north coast, renowned for its spectacular beach and status as one of the world’s top surfing destinations. This stunning stretch of golden sand lies between Pentire Head to the north and the Camel Estuary mouth. It was a beloved spot for the late Poet Laureate Sir John Betjeman, who even featured it in his poetry.
As well as featuring snippets of my abstract paintings, there are elements in this design that were created using AI. By 'feeding' an AI app some of my images and asking it to recreate them, I was able to experiment and develop a handful of images, derived from my own, that include some interesting elements I intend to use in more of my digital collages. I was secretly pleased however that it was not able to produce images anywhere near the unique style I am able to create using my own paintings and photographs!
