Size

Ilminster is an ancient market town in Somerset. The town’s records date back an impressive 1000 years, and as well as boasting a once thriving cloth industry, it was also an important coaching route to the West Country from London. Built from the honey-coloured local hamstone, and now a listed building, the Market House stands in the centre of the town at the meeting of four roads that enter the town, making it the obvious location for a market serving locals as well as passers by.
