Also known as Gwithian Beach (Gwithian meaning ‘dune’ in Cornish), this huge expanse of sandy beach stretches from Godrevy to Hayle and is popular with locals and visitors to the area.
The beach is backed by miles of sand dunes covered in tufted grass and numerous tracks take the walker inland from the South West Coast Path which winds its way through this natural beauty spot.
