This Grimsby Minster art print depicts the 12th century building that has stood for over 900 years as a symbol of the town’s maritime and religious heritage. Boasting stunning Norman arches, Gothic windows, and intricate stonework that speak to its rich past, the building was formerly known as St James’ Church, before being elevated to Minster status in 2010.
Celebrate the historic heart of Grimsby with this unusual depiction of the Minster, using fragments of my original paintings as the building blocks. This design also features the Great Grimsby Lost Fishermen’s Memorial as well as the circular stone labyrinth that displays custom engraved words and phrases.
My aim was to blend texture, colour and detail to bring the Minster to life in a modern, expressive way – perfect for lovers of local history, art, or architecture.
