Nestled high upon a promontory above the medieval village of Dunster in West Somerset stands the iconic Dunster Castle. This National Trust property is visited by thousands each year. Steeped in history, this castle-turned-late-Victorian-country-house offers expansive views across neighbouring fields down and out towards the sea. The gardens and watermill are equally as impressive with lush green vegetation, streams and abundant flora and fauna in which to wander. It's well worth a visit.

A note of additional interest: Along with an artist friend of mine, I featured in a promotional video for Great Western Railway (GWR) earlier this year, taking in the delights of Dunster using public transport. The castle takes a starring role!
