As the River Dove snakes through this most magical of gorges, the iconic Dovedale stepping stones have been providing safe (but sometimes slippery!) passage since the 1800s.
Nestled under the limestone crags, the area along the river is the perfect spot at which to rest and take in the beauty of the valley.
There are two versions of this design; one with the lush green foliage of spring-summer; and the other, with bare branches reaching up to the cool violet skies of autumn-winter – both enabling you to enjoy one of your favourite Derbyshire landscapes all year round!
