Colmer's Hill Art Print

There’s something quite magical about a group of trees on top of a hill. The pine trees that stand atop Colmer’s Hill in Dorset are no exception. Taking its name from Colmer Tenement in the 17th century, the hill is owned by the Colfox family and is part of the Symondsbury Estate. The panoramic vistas reward walkers every day as they take the 30-40 minute walk to reach the top. The hill and trees have been a source of fascination and inspiration for years, and have been recreated and reimagined by artists and photographers, across the four seasons and at all times of day and night. The place has a peaceful serenity to it and it’s little wonder it is visited so often by locals and tourists alike.
