Brean Down Art Print

A view with special memories, the scene takes you through dense grasses and wild flowers across to the promontory of Brean Down and the Bristol Channel beyond.

Standing on top of Uphill quarry, you are afforded magnificent views down across the marina and winding snake of the River Parrett as it reaches to sea.

Every year, I would accompany my husband and the CCF from King’s College as they headed to the quarry for a spot of abseiling. I’d watch, with my heart in my mouth as he, along with friend and colleague Pete, would seemingly scamper across the top of the quarry, training the pupils how to safely descend the rock face.

Good memories with good people in an area of outstanding natural beauty that I simply had to capture in my distinctive digital collage style.
