Completed on a cold Sunday every January, it always rained – always – and so I never got to fully appreciate the landscape and spectacular views during those training walks!\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIn the background is a loose interpretation of Hinkley Point, and beyond, the Bristol Channel and the coastline of South Wales.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis piece incorporates fragments of my own original paintings, collaged and layered to recreate this local landmark.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eI was careful to honour the style of one of my earlier landscape designs – the Seven Sisters trees that stand atop Cothelstone Hill.
